Brilliant...Can't Recommend This Movie Enough
Being the year of the 50th anniversary of the beloved super spy, the 23rd Bond installment had a lot to live up to. While Casino Royale was a worthy and thrilling reboot to the franchise, Quantum of Solace fell flat with critics and fans. To make matters more interesting, MGM has had financial woes over the last number of years and needed a hit to reinvigorate the studio. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Skyfall.

Not only does the movie qualify as one of the most action-packed and entertaining movies of the year, it ranks on my list as one of the best Bond flicks to date. As has come to be expected, Craig is terrific as the British spy, portraying the character with charm and intensity. The action is top notch and the story is superbly written. Among my favorite moments were the blistering opening sequences, the introduction of the film's villain, and the intense final act, which finds Bond cornered yet unafraid. The real treat, however, is Bardem's role as the sinister...

So good I've seen it twice already!!
I am a die hard Sean-Connery-as-James-Bond fan. I like most of Roger's and a couple of Pierce's. I was not happy when I first learned of Daniel Craig as the new Bond. Daniel who? Was my first reaction. Not another Lazenby, I thought...
I like Casino Royale, but it took me a couple of watches on DVD for it to grow on me. I didn't hate Quantum of Solace as much as others seem to, but then I saw Skyfall..... I love this movie so much that not one day has gone by when I haven't thought of it at least once. I saw it twice in one week, and I never do that when movies are in theaters. The writers of this film must be brought back for the next one, yes it has some minor similarities to The Dark Knight movies, but so what. I can not wait for the Blu Ray release. The best Bond film in many years
Although I remain a loyal fan to the Bond of my youth (Roger Moore), Daniel Craig is, in my opinion, one of the very best of the rest. In Skyfall he demonstrated how he has matured into the character - and the writing and execution of virtually every other aspect of this film are superior to his first two outings. Some viewers are finding this Bond outing a bit slow moving. I didn't, although it is admittedly more restrained than many other films from the series. Nevertheless, I found it engaging from beginning to end. I thought certain parts of the film packed an emotional punch seldom felt in other Bond films.

It is interesting how the public's expectations for Bond have changed. When View to A Kill premiered critics blasted the level of violence and even Roger Moore said he thought at least one scene in that movie went too far. The current take on Bond is far more violent and the bad guys are often presented in a much darker light than the villains of old - even if...

DeSean Jackson: The Making of a Father's Dream

I Love It!!
This was good and insightful. As the saying goes it takes a village to raise a child, this documentary shows how much that is true and in how many different ways it's true. Team Jackson was awesome and committed and succeeded in reaching their ultimate goal.

Great football and inspirational video!
Just finished watching it and for me, since I play football, it was extremely inspirational. I recommend this to any young football player. Keep believing, have a great work ethic, and you'll get there!

Great documentary!
The documentary was awesome! The end was a bit of a tear jerker but overall it was superb. Very intimate documentary.

Ghost Trap

A Fun Family Film!
This was a fun movie for the whole family! Though I had never seen any of these actors in the past, my kids are always open for a fun film, especially when it comes to spooky places and things. The movie itself was enjoyable and the acting was pretty good for new actors. This reminds me some of the movies I have been watching with my girls on the Disney Channel, but really, overall, it was simply a fun family film that all will enjoy!

bad acting
Bad acting and a very boring plot. Did not keep the kids attention, or mine either. Trailer was better than movie.

My family and I sat down to watch the new movie Ghost Trap from Inception Media Group. While the movie, for me, started out pretty good, it went downhill after that. The movie's idea is kind of cute as an intelligent pre-teen girl named Cynthia causes trouble by launching a rocket that causes havoc in what appeared to be the entire town. Cynthia's punishment for this act was to perform community service in the form of doing chores for a grumpy old woman who was hurt due to her rocket launch.

When she gets to the woman's house, however, she soon realizes that there is a bit more going on at that house than just grumpiness. Soon Cynthia enlists two friends and her uniquely odd science teacher to help her get to the bottom of what is going on. Armed with devices that will remind many of Ghost Busters, the gang tries to trap the ghosts of the old woman's house. At this point the movie gets pretty dark, which I found irritating, and it is even difficult to make out what is...

WONDERFULLY ROMANTIC
I saw this movie when it first came on Television and couldn't wait for it to come out on DVD and finally it has. Can't wait until it arrives in February

Lightweight, Predictable Hallmark, Cape Cod, Romantic Comedy
This made for TV, pretty much G-rated, Dove approved(12+), search for one's direction in life while finding romance Hallmark/Gaiam released flick provides enough charm and scenery to escape away for 90 minutes.

Jesse Metcalfe(I like "On the Other Line" better for laughs and romance) plays Noah, an up and coming Boston political strategist, whose life suddenly crashes both career-wise and relationship-wise. He ends up chasing a diamond ring up to scenic Cape Cod, off season, at the pretty little town of Harpswell. It's simple bucolic existence threatened by development.

He discovers love (or is he just on the rebound?) and begins to question his life's goals. Will he stay here in Harpswell or bail out to the big city and big dreams? Stay tuned.

It's all very much done before. The actors are fine and likable, mostly. The story is tepid, the romance gentle. Hallmark clean- they do imply infidelity; however, the kiddoes will be bored silly...

Politics and Friendships
A very efficient campaign manager finds himself without a position, a fiancee, and a lack of direction. New friends, a new direction, and a new position are the fresh start in his life.

Roger Moore Collection 007 James Bond Ultimate Edition, Volume 2

Bond Is Back!
I'll leave the reviews of the films themselves to other people, as I am a HUGE Bond fan so I love them all, but I will tell you what's on the discs. The set features 'Moonraker,' 'For Your Eyes Only,' and 'Octopussy,' and it's disc one only of the two-disc Ultimate Edition sets that came out in 2008. Unfortunately, the second discs were the ones with all the bonus features like theatrical trailers, radio spots, and documentaries, but disc one does contain audio commentaries. 'Moonraker' has 2 commentaries, one with Sir Roger Moore, and one with director Lewis Gilbert and members of the cast and crew. 'For Your Eyes Only' has 3, one with Moore, one with director John Glen and members of the cast, and one with Michael G. Wilson and crew members. And 'Octopussy' has 2, one with Moore, and one with director John Glen. The picture and sound for all three movies are fantastic. If the bells and whistles aren't that important to you, this is a great way to pick up three of Sir Roger's best.

O.K.
Great for James Bond fans. I want the complete James Bond collection this seemed like a good way to get. In the Roger Moore collection one movie was left out. No good.

Three movies in this package:
Moonraker- For Your Eyes Only- Octopussy
The display aspect ratio is quite wide screen, which I don't care for much but the movies themselves are standard Bond fare with Roger Moore.
Personally, Moonraker was not all that good but with most Bond movies, even an average movie has interesting parts.
The color and picture quality is good on these DVDs.

Alpha Males Experiment

Well done and thoughtful indie movie
Well done and thoughtful indie movie. Both my girlfriend and I enjoyed the film and all the discussion it provoked.

Amazingly honest movie that is well worth watching
I just got to see this movie last night after pre-ordering it and absolutely love it.

It's very much not a typical romantic comedy which is probably why I like it so much. It states some things bluntly that most people will not want to admit are true, yet we all know they are.

All the cast did a great job; Ross McCall and Paul Alessi were very convincing as brothers with the outwardly macho attitude with each other, but there's the little things they each do that shows their brotherly love.

I also loved Danielle Nicolet and Omar Gooding. Their portrayal of a married couple going through a rocky bit was so well done that I was actually talking to the screen hoping they'd hear me and stop fighting.

Paul did an amazing job as the older brother coaching his younger brother on how to 'properly date women'. His character, Kyle, was definitely the stand out and my favorite; with Amie Barsky's character of Patricia a close second because of her...

Alpha Males Experiment - A relationship roller coaster ride
Alpha Males Experiement (aka Knuckle Draggers) is the perfect film to watch with a group of people. The ensemble cast presents a range of characters where a connection can be made with one or more of the situations presented. The story is a relationship roller coaster ride with funny highs and dramatic lows.

The opening credits begin with a series of neat caveman drawings with music that set the tone of the story. You'll feel like a voyeur peeking into each character's scenario. Starting with Kyle (Paul J Alessi) who is able to take control of a bar scene injustice that many guys wish they could do in real life. Next is the view of Kyle's brother, Ethan (Ross McCall), who has problems with his fiancé and ends up being dumped. As Ethan struggles to find out what he can do to get back together with his ex-fiancé, his brother Kyle solicits advice to help him get over her and move forward with a chance at a better relationship with someone new. This movie is a perfect combination of martial arts and WW2 movies, it has more than I expected.

The plot is about the Japanese occupation of China 1940. The city of Sichen is in control of a Japanese General Takeshi (Li Zhang). The Japanese army is brutally murdering the Chinese people and the atrocities committed against the Chinese women are especially barbaric, until one day a Black Dress Killer arrive to the town, and kill over 1,500 soldiers and is systematically working his way to the Japanese General. The Black Dress Killer is a woman named Xiaoyun (Serena Hu or Hu Sang) who lost her family during General Takeshis occupation of her village and now she seek vengeance against the General. Meanwhile a Resistance leader Chen (Zhao Jun Long) failed to save a friend from Japanese prison but...

Resist Watching.
I watched this on stream and was so moved I felt I had to warn others. The synopsis given on IMDB was clearly what the film makers intended us to see, but the actual result is quite something else. This is supposed to be in the aftermath of the `Rape of Nanking' see `City of Life and Death' for an excellent portrayal of that part of shameful history. This is about `one man' who stands up to fight the entire Imperial Japanese Army and of an American journalist who wants to bring the world the truth. The thing is this is set in some village (well its only got one street by the looks of things) called The City of Sichen in 1940 some three years after Nanking.

A mystery resistance fighter called `The Black Dress Killer' presumably because `he' wears black and kills people. Well he is going around beheading the Japanese in a CGI blood splatter fest. Meanwhile the card board cut out nasty General decides he will kill absolutely everybody unless he is told who this killer is. This...

Good Movie showcasing a Great Shaolin Kung Fu Master
Zhang Li Peng is a Genuine Shaolin Kung Fu Master with Extrodinary Skills. This Movie showcases his emerging talents as an actor. I only wished that more of his Kung Fu talents were exhibited in this movie. Its well worth purchasing for the entertainment value as well as the collectors value. Li Peng will be a big star in the near future and you can own what will become his earlier work. Also see Man from Shaolin.
